Dilansir Businees Insider, Jumat (15/11/2013), prediksi tentang dua versi iWatch pada tahun depan ini
diungkapkan oleh VP of Greater China Market untuk DisplaySearch,
David Hseih, dalam sebuah konferensi di Taiwan. Hseih memiliki rekam jejak yang bagus terkait prediksinya mengenai produk-produk Apple, seperti ukuran layar iPhone 5 dan iPad mini pada tahun lalu.
Ada banyak laporan tentang rencana Apple meluncurkan perangkat pintar tersebut. iWatch diprediksi akan meluncur pada tahun depat atau 2015, tergantung pada siklus pengembangan perangkat.
Namun menurut analis Gene Munster, antusiasme konsumen terhadap iWatch sangat keicl. Ia melakukan survei kecil terhadap sejumlah konsumen dan menemukan bahwa hampir tidak ada yang menginginkan iWatch, melainkan Apple TV.
Di sisi lain, meski rumor terus berkembang, tapi Apple tetap bungkam soal rencana perusahaan meluncurkan iWatch. Sikap Apple ini tentu sudah menjadi rahasia umum, mengingat perusahaan tak pernah mengumbar produk baru yang sedang dipersiapkan.
